Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure system lies to the southwest of the State with a trough about
the Pilbara and Kimberley. The trough will begin to move east on Saturday and
contract into the North Interior on Sunday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge is developing along the south coast. A trough is developing near the
west coast and will deepen during Saturday with a low forming in the base of
the trough. The low and trough will then move southeast during Sunday, with the
low lying south of the Eucla by Sunday evening.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 25 September
Showers and the chance of thunderstorms developing over eastern parts of the
South West Land Division, southeast Gascoyne and the Goldfields in the
afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Sunday 26 September
Showers and the chance of thunderstorms over the South West Land Division,
Goldfields and the western Eucla.

Forecast for Monday 27 September
Showers over mainly southern parts and western of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Tuesday 28 September
Showers over mainly southern coastal districts and along the Eucla coast.
