Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure system is moving slowly east through the Bight during today and
Wednesday. Fresh and gusty east to southeast winds over northern parts for the
next few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system is moving slowly east through the Bight during the next
few days. A trough will develop near the west coast later today and Wednesday
and move inland early Thursday as a weak cold front brushes the far southwest.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 21 September
Mostly sunny and windy conditions over central and northern parts of the State
during the morning.

Forecast for Wednesday 22 September
Sunny throughout. Windy over northern districts in the morning.

Forecast for Thursday 23 September
Light showers over the South West and South Coastal districts and adjacent
Great Southern.

Forecast for Friday 24 September
Chance of and early light shower near the south coast and Eucla coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
