Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A strong high pressure system lies over the southern Indian Ocean and extends a
developing ridge over western parts of the State, with a high pressure system
expected to move into the Bight on Sunday. A trough will develop over the
inland Pilbara and North Interior on Sunday, and remain there early next week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front has slipped south of the State and is moving further
southeastwards as a ridge of high pressure develops rapidly across southern
parts. A high pressure system will move into the Bight on Sunday, and on Monday
a trough will develop through the South Interior. A weak trough will also
develop near the west coast on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 11 September
A band of showers moving through the South West Land Division and into the far
southern Goldfields. The slight chance of an afternoon or early evening
thunderstorm over the inland Central West and northern Central Wheat Belt.
Possible morning fog through parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Sunday 12 September
Patchy morning frost through the Central Wheat Belt, Great Southern and
southern Goldfields. Showers and possible thunderstorms through the Goldfields
and adjacent parts of the Gascoyne, South Interior and Eucla. Isolated showers
about the south coast.

Forecast for Monday 13 September
Patchy morning frost through inland parts of the South West Land Division.
Showers over the Eucla, and the adjacent parts of the South Interior,
Goldfields and Southeast Coastal districts.

Forecast for Tuesday 14 September
Slight chance of a shower about the SW Capes.
