Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A strong high pressure system lies in the Bight, and will drift slowly east
over the coming days. A fresh to strong easterly flow will persist over
northern parts for most of the working week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong high pressure system lies in the Bight, and will drift slowly east
over the coming days. A cold front will slide across southwestern parts of the
State during Wednesday and Thursday, but will fail to progress further east due
to the influence of the high pressure system over eastern Australia.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 6 September
Early showers possible over the northern Kimberley.

Forecast for Tuesday 7 September
Sunny conditions across the State.

Forecast for Wednesday 8 September
Showers developing southwest of a line from Lancelin to Hopetoun.

Forecast for Thursday 9 September
Showers southwest of a line from Geraldton to Israelite Bay.
