Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough will lie near the Pilbara and Kimberley coasts for the next few
days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front is moving over southern parts of the State during the day today. A
ridge will then develop over central parts of the State in its wake with
another weak cold front to affect the far southwest of the State on Sunday. The
ridge will strengthen through central parts on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 27 August
Showers over southern coastal and adjacent parts of the South West Land
Division and the Eucla coast, with the chance of a thunderstorm and small hail
near the south coast in the morning. Patches of morning fog in the northwest.

Forecast for Saturday 28 August
Showers south of Mandurah to Katanning to Salmon Gums and along the Eucla
coast. Morning frost possible over the far southeast Gascoyne, Goldfields and
Central Wheat Belt, northern Great Southern and the South Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 29 August
Showers southwest of Jurien Bay to Esperance. Early frost possible over the
eastern Goldfields, South Interior and the adjacent Eucla.

Forecast for Monday 30 August
Showers southwest of Jurien Bay to Hyden to Bremer Bay and along the remaining
south coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
