Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough over the eastern Pilbara will move slowly through the Kimberley during
Tuesday and Wednesday as a new ridge strengthens through central parts of the
State.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong cold front will move across the south of the State during today
followed by a squally west to southwesterly flow. Conditions will ease later
tonight and through Wednesday as a ridge of high pressure establishes over
central WA.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 10 August
Squally showers and thunderstorms, with possible small hail, over areas
southwest of Jurien Bay to Southern Cross to Israelite Bay. Showers over
remaining areas southwest of Onslow to Warburton.

Forecast for Wednesday 11 August
Showers southwest of a line from Geraldton to Hopetoun and along the remaining
south coast east to Israelite Bay.

Forecast for Thursday 12 August
Showers southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay and along the remaining
south coast east to Israelite Bay.

Forecast for Friday 13 August
Showers southwest of a line from Perth to Albany.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
