Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure ridge is strengthening through southern parts of the State,
with fresh and gusty east to southeasterly winds over northern parts.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system lies over southern parts of the State and will move into
the Bight during Thursday and Friday before a cold front approaches the west
coast on Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 4 August
Showers near the south coast.

Forecast for Thursday 5 August
Possible showers near the western south coast and along the Eucla coast, mostly
in the morning.

Forecast for Friday 6 August
Mostly sunny conditions across the State.

Forecast for Saturday 7 August
Showers near west coastal parts of the State, increasing in the afternoon with
thunderstorms possible southwest of Mandurah to Walpole. Showers extending
through remaining parts southwest of a line from Exmouth to Israelite Bay in
the afternoon and evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
