Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure ridge will strengthen through central parts of the State over
the weekend. A high will develop within the ridge over southern parts of the
State on Tuesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies through central parts of the State, with a
vigorous westerly flow over southern parts. Another strong cold front will move
over the south of the State late today and into Sunday, before a new high
pressure ridge develops over southern parts of the State on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 31 July
Showers southwest of a line from Onslow to Warburton, contracting to the South
West Land Division and the southeast parts of the State during the afternoon
and evening. Thunderstorms and gusty winds possible over near coastal parts
between Lancelin and Israelite Bay. Small hail possible southwest of a line
from Jurien Bay and Israelite Bay.

Forecast for Sunday 1 August
Showers extending to areas south of a line from Kalbarri to Laverton in the
morning, and then contracting to near coastal parts in the south during the
evening. Gusty winds over southern parts. Thunderstorms and small hail possible
near the south coast. Snow flurries possible over the Stirling Ranges in the
morning.

Forecast for Monday 2 August
Showers over western and southern parts of the South West Land Division and
along the Eucla coast.

Forecast for Tuesday 3 August
Showers over western and southern parts of the South West Land Division and
along the Eucla coast.
