Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge will develop over central parts of the State over the weekend.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge will continue to develop through central parts of the State over the
weekend with a westerly flow along the south coast. A strong cold front will
cross the southwest of the State later on Monday. The cold front will weaken
while moving through southeast parts of the State on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 24 July
Showers about coastal parts between Geraldton and Eucla, extending inland to
western parts of the South West Land Division during the day.

Forecast for Sunday 25 July
Showers about coastal between Geraldton and Bremer Bay, extending inland to
western parts of the South West Land Division during the day.

Forecast for Monday 26 July
Showers about coastal parts between Geraldton and Albany, increasing during the
afternoon and extending to areas southwest of a line Denham to Israelite Bay by
evening. Gusty winds in the southwest. Moderate to heavy falls possible in the
Lower West and South West. Thunderstorms possible near the western south coast.

Forecast for Tuesday 27 July
Gusty winds in the South West Land Division during the morning. Thunderstorms
possible near the south coast. Showers extending to remaining areas southwest
of a line Exmouth to Forrest during the day. Showers in the South West Land
Division contracting to the south coast during the afternoon.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
