Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak ridge of high pressure is contracting east through the Interior with a
strong westerly flow over the south of the State. A new ridge will develop
through central parts of the State late Wednesday and on Thursday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong and gusty westerly flow over the south of the State with a low south
of the State moving slowly east during Tuesday and Wednesday. A high pressure
ridge will build over the Gascoyne late Wednesday and Thursday and strengthen
further on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 13 July
Showers over the South West Land Division, Gascoyne, southwest Goldfields,
Eucla, South Interior and the Pilbara. Squally showers and thunderstorms
possible southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Israelite Bay.

Forecast for Wednesday 14 July
Showers and gusty winds over the South West Land Division, southern Gascoyne,
southwest Goldfields and western Eucla. Thunderstorms about coastal and
adjacent parts between Jurien Bay and Israelite Bay.

Forecast for Thursday 15 July
Showers over the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields and Eucla,
contracting to near coastal parts during the morning. Thunderstorms and gusty
winds about southern coastal parts east of Windy Harbour.

Forecast for Friday 16 July
Showers over near coastal parts from Jurien Bay to the SA Border. Winds along
the south coast easing from the west during the day.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
