Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies through the Interior and into the Pilbara with
little change over the next few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure will lie through central parts of the State on
Thursday before a strong cold front moves across the southwest on Friday. A new
ridge will lie over the south of the State during the weekend. A strong cold
front will over southern and western parts of the State during Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 8 July
Showers over western and southern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 9 July
Showers over the South West Land Division and adjacent areas. Thunderstorms
possible southwest of Lancelin to Bremer Bay, most likely in the morning and
afternoon.

Forecast for Saturday 10 July
Showers over the South West Land Division and adjacent areas, contracting to
the south coast in the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Sunday 11 July
Chance of showers near the west coast, most likely during the evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
