Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies over central and southern parts of the State with
moderate to fresh and gusty east to southeasterly winds over the Pilbara and
southwest Kimberley. The ridge will contract to the east over the weekend, with
a trough developing over the west Pilbara on Monday before moving east on
Tuesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies over southern parts of the State. The ridge will
contract to the east today ahead of a cold front that will move across western
parts of the State on Sunday before weakening. A westerly flow will persist on
Monday in the wake of the front before a second front moves across the south on
Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 26 June
Generally sunny across the State.

Forecast for Sunday 27 June
Showers extending to areas west of a line Coral Bay to Southern Cross to
Hopetoun by the evening. Gusty winds and possible thunderstorms near the west
coast south of Kalbarri, with moderate falls. Generally lighter falls further
north and east.

Forecast for Monday 28 June
Showers across the South West Land Division, with thunderstorms possible in the
west. Generally light falls inland and along the south coast east of Walpole.
Showers also possible over the far western Pilbara, the Gascoyne, Goldfields
and western Eucla.

Forecast for Tuesday 29 June
Showers and thunderstorms across the South West Land Division, with small hail
along the south coast and west coast south of Perth. Possible moderate falls
near the Darling Scarp and southwest, west of Albany. Showers over the
Goldfields, South Interior and Eucla with generally light falls.
