Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A new ridge of high pressure is developing southern WA during Tuesday and
Wednesday with fresh and gusty southeasterly winds over the north of the State
in the mornings.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high is developing through southern parts of the State before moving
south of the State on Wednesday, as a high moves into the Bight. On Thursday a
trough will reach the southwest corner in the evening, and then move into the
South West Land Division on Friday as a cold front reaches the SW Capes.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 25 May
Showers along the south coast, easing during the day.

Forecast for Wednesday 26 May
Possible showers near the western south coast early morning.

Forecast for Thursday 27 May
Showers near the Southwest Capes, mostly in the afternoon and evening. Showers
possible over the far west Pilbara and adjacent Gascoyne.

Forecast for Friday 28 May
Showers and the chance of thunderstorms developing over western areas of the
State. Moderate falls possible about the western Pilbara and adjacent Gascoyne.
