Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure system is moving over eastern Australia, with east to southeast
winds easing and a weak trough developing over the western Pilbara over the
next few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough will move through the South West Land Division during today then
weaken early Wednesday as a weak high pressure ridge develops before a cold
front moves through Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 18 May
Showers and possible thunderstorms extending through areas southwest of a line
from Denham to Esperance.

Forecast for Wednesday 19 May
Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division and the southern
Goldfields.

Forecast for Thursday 20 May
Mostly sunny throughout.

Forecast for Friday 21 May
Mostly sunny throughout until showers develop near the southwest coast west of
Walpole in the afternoon and evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
