Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough through the western Pilbara will contract east over the Pilbara during
Friday and Saturday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front will cross through South West Land Division and the southern
Goldfields during Friday, before a ridge quickly develops over the southern
parts of the State on Saturday. The ridge will drift well south of the State on
Sunday. The ridge will strengthen in the Bight during Monday and a surface
trough will deepen off the west coast.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 30 April
Showers over the South West Land Division extending to the southern Goldfields
and the adjacent Eucla and coastal Gascoyne during the morning, and then
contracting to the south coast by the evening. Possible thunderstorms with
squally winds over southeast parts of the South West Land Division and western
Eucla, clearing during the day.

Forecast for Saturday 1 May
Showers about the South Coastal, southern areas of the South West district, and
coastal parts of the South East Coastal.

Forecast for Sunday 2 May
Showers in the west Pilbara, northeast Goldfields, SW Interior,and Eucla.
Showers near the south coast.

Forecast for Monday 3 May
Showers and the chance of a thunderstorm in the west Pilbara, Gascoyne,
northeast Goldfields, SW Interior, inland Central West, NE Central Wheat Belt,
and Eucla. Showers near the south coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
