Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies over the far western Pilbara. Fresh and gusty easterly winds over
the weekend with a strong ridge over the south of the state.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge remains near the south coast. Over the weekend a trough will form off
the west coast and a high will move into the Bight. Early Monday the trough
moves inland as a weak cold front brushes the south coast.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 17 April
Mostly sunny.

Forecast for Sunday 18 April
A chance of afternoon showers or thunderstorms over the inland Gascoyne.

Forecast for Monday 19 April
Showers near the south coast and the adjacent inland.

Forecast for Tuesday 20 April
A chance of showers or thunderstorms over the northeast Gascoyne, eastern
Pilbara, far western Interior and the adjacent Goldfields. A chance of showers
along the south coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
