Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies over the far western Pilbara. Fresh and gusty easterly winds over
the next few days with strong ridge over the south of the State.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge remains over southern parts of the state which will drift slightly
south on Friday. Over the weekend a trough will form off the west coast and a
high will move into the Bight. On Monday the trough moves inland as a cold
front brushes the south coast.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 16 April
Chance of fog over far southern parts of the state early morning. Mostly sunny
day.

Forecast for Saturday 17 April
Mostly sunny.

Forecast for Sunday 18 April
Mostly sunny.

Forecast for Monday 19 April
Showers near the south coast and the adjacent inland.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
