Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies over the western Pilbara is weakening. Fresh and gusty easterly
winds from Friday with strong ridge over the south of the State.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong ridge is developing over southern parts of the State, with an onshore
flow persisting along the south coast. The ridge will drift south and weaken
slightly during Thursday and Friday. Over the weekend a high will form in the
Bight

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 15 April
Showers and thunderstorms near the Kimberley coast, southern and western
Pilbara, far northeast Gascoyne and the South Interior. Possible showers near
the southern and Eucla coasts.

Forecast for Friday 16 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the coastal Kimberley, western Pilbara, and far
north Gascoyne.

Forecast for Saturday 17 April
Mostly sunny.

Forecast for Sunday 18 April
Mostly sunny.
