Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies inland from the west Pilbara coast and extends through the
Gascoyne. The trough will remain near stationary over the coming days. Tropical
Cyclone Seroja lies well off the north Kimberley coast and will move southwest,
parallel offshore from the Pilbara coast over the coming days. For more details

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A broad trough near the west coast will move slowly through the South West Land
Division and Goldfields during Tuesday. By Wednesday the trough will from the
Gascoyne to the Eucla and a ridge will build near the southwest corner.
Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 6 April
Showers with a chance of thunderstorms over the far north Kimberley. Possible
light showers near the southwest coast. Chance of an early thunderstorm east of
Esperance and the far west Eucla.
Forecast for Wednesday 7 April
Showers over southern districts south of a line from Perth to Esperance.
Showers and the chance of a thunderstorm in the north Kimberley.
Forecast for Thursday 8 April
Showers over southern and central districts of the South West Land Division,
far southern Goldfields, and southwest Eucla. Showers and the chance of a
thunderstorm in the west Pilbara.
Forecast for Friday 9 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, Pilbara and
northern Gascoyne. Possible showers over the Southwest Land Division,
Goldfields, Eucla and the remaining Gascoyne.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
