Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies inland from the west Pilbara coast and extends through the
Gascoyne. The trough will remain near stationary over the coming days. A
tropical system lies well off the north Kimberley coast and will begin moving
towards the southwest, parallel to the Pilbara coast from Monday for more

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A broad trough near the west coast will move slowly through the South West Land
Division and Goldfields on Monday and Tuesday. By Wednesday the trough will
from the Gascoyne to the Eucla and a ridge will build near the southwest corner.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 5 April
Showers with a chance of thunderstorms over the far north Kimberley. A chance
of showers or thunderstorms over the South Coastal district and the adjacent
South West, Great Southern, far southeast Central Wheat Belt and South East
Coastal districts.

Forecast for Tuesday 6 April
Showers with a chance of thunderstorms over the far north Kimberley. Possible
showers over the western south coast and adjacent parts. Chance of an early
thunderstorm near Esperance.

Forecast for Wednesday 7 April
Showers over southern districts south of a line from Perth to Esperance.
Showers and the chance of a thunderstorm in the north Kimberley.

Forecast for Thursday 8 April
Showers over southern and central districts of the South West Land Division,
southern Goldfields, and southwest Eucla. Showers and the chance of a
thunderstorm in the Pilbara and northwest Kimberley.
