Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies inland from the west Pilbara coast and extends down through
the Gascoyne. The trough will remain near stationary over the coming days. A
tropical low lies well off the north Kimberley coast and will begin moving
towards the southwest, parallel to the Pilbara coast from Monday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge is developing south of the state with a trough deepening near the west
coast. The trough will move slowly through the South West Land Division on
Monday and Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 4 April
Showers with a chance of thunderstorms over the far north Kimberley, South
West, Great Southern and the South Coastal district. A chance of a morning
shower or thunderstorm over the southern Lower West. A chance of an afternoon
shower or thunderstorm over the Central Wheat Belt and western parts of the
South East Coastal district.

Forecast for Monday 5 April
Showers with a chance of thunderstorms over the far north Kimberley. A chance
of showers or thunderstorms over the South Coastal district and the adjacent
South West, Great Southern and South East Coastal districts.

Forecast for Tuesday 6 April
Showers with a chance of thunderstorms over the far north Kimberley. Possible
showers over the western south coast and adjacent parts.

Forecast for Wednesday 7 April
Showers over southern districts south of a line from Perth to Esperance.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
