Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies inland from the Kimberley coast and the Pilbara coast,
extending down through the Gascoyne, remaining mostly stationary over the
coming days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies in the Bight while a trough extends from the
Gascoyne to central parts of the South West Land Division and towards the south
coast. The trough will move to eastern WA later this week, while a weak cold
front and middle level cloud band moves over the southwest corner of the State.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 31 March
Showers and the chance of a thunderstorm over southwestern parts of WA.

Forecast for Thursday 1 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the far north Kimberley. Showers southwest of a
line from Perth to Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Friday 2 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the far north Kimberley. Showers southwest of a
line from Bunbury to Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Saturday 3 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the north Kimberley. Showers and thunderstorms
in western and southern parts of the South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
