Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the Kimberley to waters north of WA.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A surface trough lies just inland from the west coast and will move east across
the South West Land Division during the Monday, whilst a weak cold front
brushes the western south coast during the morning. A new ridge of high
pressure will develop near the south coast from late Monday and continue to
develop south of the State during Tuesday and Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 22 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and Interior. Chance of showers
near the south coast and in eastern parts of the Eucla. Chance of afternoon or
evening thunderstorms over eastern parts of the South West Land Division and
adjacent Goldfields.

Forecast for Tuesday 23 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, Goldfields, Eucla and
far eastern parts of the South West Land Division. Chance of showers near the
south coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 24 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, Goldfields, Eucla.
Chance of showers near the western south coast.

Forecast for Thursday 25 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, far northeast Pilbara, Interior,
Goldfields and Eucla.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
