Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A strong ridge of high pressure will lie through central parts of the country
while a trough extends from the Kimberley to waters north of WA to the far west
Pilbara coast.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
The synoptic pattern will remain stagnant over the next few days with a ridge
of high pressure to the south of the State, and a surface trough lingering near
the west coast.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 17 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, North Interior and
western Gascoyne.

Forecast for Thursday 18 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, North Interior, Pilbara, and
western Gascoyne.

Forecast for Friday 19 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, North Interior, and eastern
Pilbara.

Forecast for Saturday 20 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley tending to rain over the Interior.
Chance of showers or thunderstorms over the Eucla.
