Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies from the Kimberley coast across inland WA.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A surface trough will move from the South West Land Division into the
Goldfields and Eucla during Thursday. A new ridge of high pressure develops
over the southwest of the State during Friday. The ridge to the south of the
State will dominant the synoptic pattern over the weekend.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 11 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, northern and
eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, western Eucla, southern and central parts of the
South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 12 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, Gascoyne,
Goldfields and Eucla. Showers over southern parts of the South West Land
Division.

Forecast for Saturday 13 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, northern
Gascoyne, and northeast Goldfields. Showers possible in the Eucla.

Forecast for Sunday 14 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, central and north
Interior, Gascoyne, and the far north of the Central West.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
