Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies from the Kimberley coast across inland WA.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A low pressure trough is deepening near the Central West coast and will move
inland across the South West Land Division during Wednesday and Thursday. A new
ridge of high pressure develops over the southwest of the State during Friday.
Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 10 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, western Interior,
eastern Gascoyne, and the Goldfields. Showers with a chance of a thunderstorm
through central and southwestern parts of the South West Land Division.
Forecast for Thursday 11 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern and western
Interior, northern and eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, western Eucla and southern
and eastern parts of the South West Land Division.
Forecast for Friday 12 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, northern and
eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields and Eucla.
Forecast for Saturday 13 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior and northern
Gascoyne.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
