Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over inland parts of the State.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A new ridge of high pressure is developing over southern parts which will drift
south of the State Sunday and Monday. A surface trough will develop near the
west coast and a high pressure system will move south of the State during
Tuesday.
Forecast for the rest of Sunday 7 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and Interior. Drizzle possible
over southern and central parts of the South West Land Division and the
southern Goldfields and Eucla.
Forecast for Monday 8 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Gascoyne, North Interior
and northeast Gascoyne. Showers possible over southern parts of the South West
Land Division.
Forecast for Tuesday 9 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, northeast
Gascoyne, far western Interior, and the far northern Goldfields. Slight chance
of a shower about the South Coastal and South East Coastal districts.
Forecast for Wednesday 10 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, North Interior,
eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields and northeast Central Wheat Belt. Slight chance of
a shower over southern and central parts of the South West Land Division.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
