Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over inland parts of the State and will drift towards the
Pilbara and Kimberley coasts during Wednesday and Thursday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies to the south of the State. A surface trough is
deepening near the west coast and a high pressure system will move south of the
State during Tuesday. The trough will move inland from the west coast on
Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 8 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, southern and eastern Pilbara,
North Interior and northeast Gascoyne. Showers over southern parts of the South
West Land Division, southern Goldfields and the Eucla.

Forecast for Tuesday 9 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, central and
eastern Gascoyne, and the adjacent Central West district.

Forecast for Wednesday 10 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, northern and
western Interior, eastern Gascoyne, and the Goldfields. Showers with a chance
of a thunderstorm through central parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Thursday 11 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, northern and
western Interior, northern and eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, western Eucla and
southern and eastern parts of the South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
