Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over inland parts of the State.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A new ridge of high pressure will develop over southern parts during Saturday
and then drift south of the State Sunday and Monday. A surface trough will
develop near the west coast and a high pressure system will move south of the
State during Tuesday.
Forecast for the rest of Saturday 6 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, Interior and the
Eucla. Showers or drizzle possible over southern and central parts of the South
West Land Division, and the southern Goldfields.
Forecast for Sunday 7 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, and Interior.
Showers possible over southern and central parts of the South West Land
Division.
Forecast for Monday 8 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, and North Interior. Showers
possible over southern parts of the South West Land Division.
Forecast for Tuesday 9 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, central
and northern Interior, northern parts of the Central Wheat Belt and the
northwestern Goldfields. Slight chance of a shower about the South Coastal and
South East Coastal districts.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
