Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over north of the State and will remain near stationary
over the next few days. The trough will begin to deepen near the west coast
from Monday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A broad trough lies from the Interior to the Gascoyne and Central West coast,
and is expected to deepen down the west coast from Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 28 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northeast Pilbara, eastern
Interior and the eastern Eucla. Light showers near the south coast and adjacent
inland areas.

Forecast for Monday 1 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields,
Interior and mainly western parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Tuesday 2 March
Showers and thunderstorms over most of the state away from the south coast.
Light showers possible near the south coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 3 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields and
South West Land Division away from the south coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
