Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over north of the State and will remain near stationary
over the next few days. A tropical low over waters north of WA will move west
over open waters over the next few days.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A deepening heat trough lies near the west coast and will move inland later
today and during Wednesday. The trough is then expected to redevelop back
towards the west coast during Thursday to Saturday.

Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northeast Pilbara and the North
Interior.
Forecast for Wednesday 24 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northeast Pilbara and the North
Interior.
Forecast for Thursday 25 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, North Interior and
northwestern Gascoyne.
Forecast for Friday 26 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, North Interior and far
eastern Gascoyne.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
