Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over north of the State and will remain near stationary
over the next few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough near the west coast will move inland during today, and into the
Goldfields and the Eucla on Wednesday. A cold front will move over southwestern
parts of the South West Land Division later Wednesday and into Thursday
morning. A new ridge will then develop near the south coast in its wake.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 16 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern and western
Interior, Gascoyne, Goldfields, and the central and eastern parts of the South
West Land Division. Moderate to heavy falls possible over the Kimberley.

Forecast for Wednesday 17 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, Pilbara, far west
Interior, inland Gascoyne, Goldfields, far west Eucla, and eastern parts of the
the South West Land Division. Showers developing through the South West
district and the adjacent South Coastal during the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Thursday 18 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, Pilbara, western
Interior, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla and far eastern parts of the
South West Land Division. Showers over areas southwest of a line from Jurien
Bay to Hopetoun, contracting to the south coast during the afternoon.

Forecast for Friday 19 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, northern
Gascoyne, Interior and the eastern Eucla.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
