Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over the inland Pilbara and extends to the North Interior
and will remain near stationary over the next few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system lies south of the State and will move into the Bight
during Saturday while a trough begins to develop down the west coast. The
trough will deepen further down the west coast during Sunday and Monday, before
remaining near stationary on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 13 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, western and
northern Gascoyne, northern Central West and the north and east Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 14 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, central and western
Gascoyne, northern Central West District and over the north and east Interior.

Forecast for Monday 15 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, Gascoyne and
northern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Tuesday 16 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, Gascoyne and
over central and western parts of the South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
