Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the inland Kimberley to the inland Pilbara. It may push
off the Pilbara coast for a period on Saturday morning, but should otherwise
remain near stationary. A tropical low may develop over waters north of WA
during next week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure will strengthen to the south of the State over the
next few days. A trough will begin to deepen down the west coast from Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 16 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, inland Gascoyne,
Interior, northern Goldfields and northern inland parts of the Central West.

Forecast for Sunday 17 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, northern
Interior and Central West.

Forecast for Monday 18 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, and the
northern half of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Tuesday 19 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, and the
northern South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
