Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the inland Kimberley to the inland Pilbara and will
remain near stationary over the next few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge lies to the south of the State with a broad trough over the inland
Gascoyne. The ridge will strengthen to the south of the State over the next few
days. A trough will begin to develop down the west coast from Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 15 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, inland Gascoyne,
Goldfields, Interior, and northern parts of the South West Land Division. Light
showers near coastal parts of the South Coastal, South East Coastal and Eucla
districts.

Forecast for Saturday 16 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, inland Gascoyne,
Interior and Goldfields.

Forecast for Sunday 17 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, northern
Interior and Central West.

Forecast for Monday 18 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, far northern
Goldfields and northern parts of the South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
