Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies inland from the Pilbara coast to a broad area of low pressure
over the Kimberley.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge lies to the south of the State. A deep surface trough
lies near the west coast. Northern parts of the trough will move inland from
the west coast during today and Thursday to lie through central parts of the
South West Land Division on Friday.
Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 30 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, the
South West Land Division, Goldfields and far west Eucla.
Forecast for Thursday 31 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern and western Kimberley, inland
Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne, southern and eastern parts of the South West Land
Division, Goldfields, western Interior and the western Eucla.
Forecast for Friday 1 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern Kimberley, inland Pilbara,
northeast Gascoyne, south and west Interior, eastern Goldfields, eastern South
Coastal, South East Coastal and the Eucla.
Forecast for Saturday 2 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern Kimberley, inland Pilbara,
northeast Gascoyne, south and west Interior, eastern Goldfields, eastern South
Coastal, South East Coastal and the Eucla.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
