Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies inland from the Pilbara coast to a broad area of low pressure
over the Kimberley.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge is rapidly building to the south of the State. A surface
trough will deepen off the west coast during Monday and Tuesday, before moving
just inland from the coast during Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 27 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northeast Gascoyne, Interior and
eastern Pilbara. Morning showers or thunderstorms possible over the Eucla.

Forecast for Monday 28 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, Pilbara and northern
Gascoyne.

Forecast for Tuesday 29 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, North Interior, Pilbara, inland
Gascoyne, and western parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 30 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, the
South West Land Division and the western Goldfields.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
