Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the central Pilbara into the northeast Gascoyne before
moving east through the Goldfields and into the South Interior by Sunday
evening. By Monday evening the trough will extend over the inland Pilbara to
the North Interior and then remain near stationary on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough lies over eastern parts of the South West Land Division and will
contract eastwards on Sunday ahead of a weak cold front that will move over the
southwest of the State. A ridge will develop near the south coast in the wake
of the front on Monday before drifting south on Tuesday as another trough
develops near the west coast.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 13 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and Interior. Showers across
western and southern parts of the South West Land Division, also through parts
of the Pilbara, Gascoyne and northern Goldfields.

Forecast for Monday 14 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and South Interior. Light showers
along the south coast.

Forecast for Tuesday 15 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, southeastern Pilbara
and the northeastern Gascoyne.

Forecast for Wednesday 16 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and northern Interior,
inland Pilbara, inland Gascoyne and northern parts of the South West Land
Division. Showers over remaining southern and eastern parts of the South West
Land Division, southwest Goldfields and the Eucla coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
