Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the Pilbara into the South Interior and will contract
northeast during the day to lie from the inland Pilbara to the North Interior
by Monday evening. The trough will remain near stationary over the next few
days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge is developing near the south coast during Monday before drifting south
on Tuesday as a trough develops near the west coast. The trough will remain
near the west coast for the next few days.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 14 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and South Interior. A morning
shower or storm possible over the eastern Goldfields and the Eucla. Light
showers along south coast and a morning shower clearing about the Lower West
coast.

Forecast for Tuesday 15 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, southeastern Pilbara
and the northeastern Gascoyne. Showers over remainder of eastern Gascoyne and
southern Interior.

Forecast for Wednesday 16 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central Interior, inland Pilbara,
inland Gascoyne and northern parts of the South West Land Division. Showers
over remaining southern and eastern parts of the South West Land Division and
southwest Goldfields.

Forecast for Thursday 17 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northwest Interior,
northeast Gascoyne and northern Goldfields. Showers over central and southern
parts of the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields and Eucla.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
