Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough in the inland Kimberley extends through the North Interior and to the
Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system in the Bight and a trough forming just inland from the
west coast on Wednesday before moving east later in the day. The trough will
deepen through the Goldfields during Thursday before move into the Eucla and
South Interior during Friday. A weakening cold front will brush the western
south coast early Friday and a ridge will rapidly develop in its wake.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 2 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara,
northeast Gascoyne and the central and northern Interior.

Forecast for Thursday 3 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, west and north Interior,
inland Gascoyne, western and northern Goldfields and northeastern parts of the
Central Wheat Belt.

Forecast for Friday 4 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, west and north Interior,
inland Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla, and far eastern parts of the Southwest Land
Division. Showers southwest of a line from Mandurah to Bremer Bay, mostly
during the morning.

Forecast for Saturday 5 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara, and
the central and northern Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
