Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough in the inland Kimberley extends to the North Interior and to the
Pilbara, moving offshore from the Pilbara coast for a period Tuesday and
Wednesday morning.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge is developing near the south coast today. A broad trough will form just
inland from the west coast on Wednesday moving inland later in the day. The
surface trough will lie through the Goldfields during Thursday before move into
the Eucla and South Interior on Friday. A weak cold front will brush the
western south coast early Friday and a ridge will rapidly develop in its wake.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 1 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northeast Pilbara and the
northern Interior. Slight chance of a light shower near the south coast during
the morning.

Forecast for Wednesday 2 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara,
northeast Gascoyne and the Interior.

Forecast for Thursday 3 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, west and north Interior,
inland Gascoyne, western and northern Goldfields and northeastern parts of the
Southwest Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 4 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, west and north Interior,
inland Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla, and far eastern parts of the Southwest Land
Division. Showers near the western south coast and adjacent inland parts.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
