Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies from the Kimberley to the North Interior and through the
inland Pilbara. The trough will deepen through central parts of the State on
Sunday and contract northeast again during Monday and Tuesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is developing to the south of the State with a surface
trough located near the west coast. The trough will move eastwards from Sunday
afternoon and deepen during Monday ahead of a cold front that will cross the
southwest of the State. A new ridge will develop near the south coast in the
wake of the front on Tuesday and a broad trough will develop inland from the
west coast on Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 29 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, far northeast
Gascoyne, Interior, and the northern Goldfields. Showers developing about the
southwest Capes during the afternoon and extending to southwest of Perth to
Hyden to Hopetoun by midnight.

Forecast for Monday 30 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, Interior, Eucla
and the eastern Goldfields. Showers southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to
Israelite Bay contracting to the south coast and adjacent parts by afternoon. A
chance of thunderstorms and small hail near the south coast and adjacent parts.

Forecast for Tuesday 1 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, far northeast Pilbara and the
northern and eastern Interior.

Forecast for Wednesday 2 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara,
northeast Gascoyne and northern parts of the Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
