Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies from the Kimberley to the North Interior, through inland
Pilbara, and into the Gascoyne. The trough will contract out of the Gascoyne
for a period today before deepening again through central parts of the State on
Sunday. The trough will contract northeast again during Monday and Tuesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is developing to the south of the State. A broad
surface trough will form through the South West Land Division during Sunday.
The trough will move eastwards from Sunday afternoon and deepen during Monday
ahead of a cold front that will cross the southwest of the State. A new ridge
will develop near the south coast in the wake of the front on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 28 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara,
Interior, far northeast Gascoyne far eastern Goldfields and the Eucla, clearing
from southern parts during the morning. Showers over southeastern parts of the
South West Land Division in the morning.

Forecast for Sunday 29 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, far northeast
Gascoyne, Interior, and the northern Goldfields. Showers developing about the
southwest Capes in the evening.

Forecast for Monday 30 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, Interior, Eucla
and the eastern Goldfields. Showers about the South West district extending to
remaining areas southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Israelite Bay during the
day. A chance of thunderstorms and small hail near the south coast and adjacent
parts.

Forecast for Tuesday 1 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northeast Pilbara and the
northern and eastern Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
