Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies from the Kimberley to the North Interior, through inland
Pilbara, and into the Gascoyne.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
The surface trough near the west coast will deepen and move inland during
Tuesday, with a new high pressure system developing south of the State on
Wednesday. Another trough will develop near the west coast by early Thursday
morning and will begin to move east through the South West Land Division from
early afternoon and into the Goldfields on Friday. A ridge of high pressure
develops to the south of the State in the wake of trough on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 24 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Interior,
inland Gascoyne and northeastern parts of the South West Land Division. Late
showers or drizzle possible near the western south coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 25 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, northeast
Gascoyne and central and northern parts of the Goldfields. Showers possible
near the eastern south coast.

Forecast for Thursday 26 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara,
central and northern Interior and the northeast Gascoyne.

Forecast for Friday 27 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara,
Interior, north and east Goldfields and the northeast Gascoyne. Showers
possible near the south coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
