Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies from the Kimberley to the North Interior and to the inland
Pilbara, and will extend into the Gascoyne during today and Tuesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system is moving into the Bight as a surface trough forms near
the west coast. The surface trough will deepen and move inland during Tuesday,
with a new high pressure system developing south of the State on Wednesday.
Another trough will develop near the west coast by early Thursday morning and
will begin to move east through the South West Land Division from early
afternoon.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 23 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, central and north
Interior, and the inland Gascoyne.

Forecast for Tuesday 24 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, North Interior, inland
Gascoyne and northeastern parts of the South West Land Division. Late showers
or drizzle possible near the western south coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 25 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, northeast
Gascoyne and central and northern parts of the Goldfields. Showers possible
near the eastern south coast.

Forecast for Thursday 26 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara,
central and northern Interior and the northeast Gascoyne.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
