Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies from the Kimberley to the North Interior and to the inland
Pilbara. The trough will extend into the Gascoyne during Monday and Tuesday.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system will move south of the State on Sunday. On Monday the
high will move into the Bight and a surface trough will form near the west
coast. The surface trough will deepen and move inland during Tuesday, with a
new high pressure system developing south of the State on Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of Sunday 22 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, far northeast
Gascoyne and Interior. Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Eucla in the
morning.
Forecast for Monday 23 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, central and north
Interior, and the northern Gascoyne.
Forecast for Tuesday 24 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, north and west Interior,
inland Gascoyne, western Goldfields and northeastern parts of the South West
Land Division. Late showers or drizzle possible near the western south coast.
Forecast for Wednesday 25 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, eastern
Gascoyne and the Goldfields. Showers possible near the eastern south coast.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
