Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies through northern parts of the State and will deepen through
the inland Kimberley and inland Pilbara during Wednesday before drifting slowly
east on Thursday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure extends to the south of the State, with a high
pressure system moving south of the State on Wednesday and Thursday. A new
trough will begin to develop near the west coast from Wednesday and deepen
further on Thursday and Friday before moving inland of the west coast on
Saturday as the ridge contacts eastwards.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 4 November
Showers and thunderstorms possible over northern parts of the Interior,
northern and western Kimberley and the adjacent Pilbara. Showers possible along
southern coastal parts.

Forecast for Thursday 5 November
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara,
southern and eastern Gascoyne, Interior, northern Goldfields and northern parts
of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 6 November
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara,
southeast Gascoyne, Goldfields, Interior, Eucla and northeastern parts of the
South West Land Division. Showers possible along the south coast.

Forecast for Saturday 7 November
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley, Interior, Goldfields,
Eucla and far eastern South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
