Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the southern Kimberley through the inland Pilbara to the
Gascoyne. The trough will begin to contract eastwards and into the Interior
later on Saturday and Sunday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system is developing to the south of the State with a high
moving into the Bight by this evening. A new surface trough will form and
deepen near the west coast during today and Friday, before moving inland on
Saturday ahead of a cold front that will cross the South West Land Division
from late Saturday night.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 29 October
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley, Interior, eastern and
southern Pilbara, the Gascoyne, northern parts of the Central West and far
northern parts of the Goldfields.

Forecast for Friday 30 October
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, inland
Gascoyne, north and west Interior and northwestern parts of the South West Land
Division.

Forecast for Saturday 31 October
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, North
Interior and the adjacent Gascoyne. Showers and possible thunderstorms over
southern parts of the South West Land Division and the adjacent Goldfields.
Showers also developing over remaining western parts south of Dongara during
the day.

Forecast for Sunday 1 November
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley, far eastern Pilbara,
northern and western Interior, Goldfields, Eucla, far eastern Goldfields and
eastern parts of the South West Land Division. Showers over remaining parts of
the South West Land Division and the southwest Gascoyne, with a chance of a
thunderstorm over the Southwest district and the adjacent Lower West.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
