Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the southern Kimberley through the inland Pilbara to the
Gascoyne and will deepen further on Sunday and Monday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A surface trough near the west coast will deepen further on Sunday as a high
pressure system moves well to the southeast of the State. The trough will move
inland on Monday ahead of a weak front that brushes the far southwest coast,
and slowly contracts further east on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 25 October
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the northern and eastern Kimberley.
Showers possible near the southern coast east of Esperance and the Eucla coast.

Forecast for Monday 26 October
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the northern and eastern Kimberley, and
northern and central parts of the Interior. Isolated showers and thunderstorms
possible near the south coast between Albany and Esperance, with little to no
rainfall. Light showers also possible over the Southwest and adjacent South
Coastal districts.

Forecast for Tuesday 27 October
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the northern and eastern Kimberley,
northern and central parts of the Interior, and the far northern Goldfields

Forecast for Wednesday 28 October
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the northern and eastern Kimberley,
Interior, Eucla and eastern Goldfields. Showers southwest of a line Busselton
to Bremer Bay.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
