Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the North Interior into the inland Pilbara and will
deepen into the Gascoyne on Sunday and Monday before moving slowly east on
Tuesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A surface trough developing off the west coast will deepen further on Saturday
and Sunday as a high pressure system moves through the Bight. The trough will
move inland on Monday ahead of a weak front that brushes the far southwest
coast, and slowly contracts further east on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 24 October
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the northern and eastern Kimberley and
the North Interior. Showers possible near the southern and Eucla coasts.

Forecast for Sunday 25 October
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the northern Kimberley. Showers
possible near the southern coast east of Esperance and the Eucla coast.

Forecast for Monday 26 October
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the northern and eastern Kimberley, and
northern and central parts of the Interior. Afternoon and evening thunderstorms
possible near the south coast between Albany and Esperance, with little to no
rainfall.

Forecast for Tuesday 27 October
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the northern and eastern Kimberley,
northern and central parts of the Interior, and the far northern Goldfields

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
